Total construction area 11,263 M2. Project carried out on the house of Nicolas de Ovando, who was Governor of Hispaniola, current Dominican Republic, between the years 1502-1509. The house was built between 1502-1503 and is considered the first stone house built in America. Together with the Casa de Los Dávila, the Capilla de los Remedios and 3 annexed houses that Ovando ordered to be built in 1505, the current architectural complex has been converted into a Hotel. The original colonial structure was subject to study and faithful restoration. All its original components were carefully respected.
